OUR MISSION

Delaney Street Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ in the Greater Orlando area.

OUR VISION

Our passion and desire is to see God the Father glorified as we lift up His Son Jesus Christ, to reach the lost with His gospel, and to serve Him with compassion and excellence. We acknowledge Jesus as the Cornerstone of our church, the Bible as our blueprint for Christian living, and our eight core values as the framework for accomplishing our mission to present Jesus as Savior and pursue Christ as Lord.

5 AREAS OF FOCUS

At Delaney Street Baptist we, as individual believers and as a local body of believers, concentrate on 5 AREAS OF “FOCUS”:

Worship
As individual believers we are to worship God as believers with all our hearts, all our soul, all our strength, and all our minds (Luke 10:27).

As a church we who are the called-out ones are to come together to worship collectively our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Discipleship
As individual beliers we are to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

As a church we are to foster an environment were we as a people grow more into the image of and glory to Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:9-18).

Evangelism
As individual believers we are to share our story of faith in Jesus Christ with everyone and especially those within our circle of influence (Acts 1:8).

As a church we are to make disciples of all people throughout the nations (Matthew 28:18-20).

Serve
As individual believers we are to do good and serve where we have opportunities especially those within the house of faith (Galatians 6:10).

As a church we are to live out the heart of Jesus as He said that He did not come to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45).

Gracious
As individual believers we are to utilize our Time, talent, and treasure that God has entrusted to us for the Kingdom of God (2 Corinthians 9:7).

As a church we are to be gracious stewards of all that the Lord has blessed us with (Psalm 37:21).
