DISCIPLE GROUPS

Our goal is that everyone in our church family is either discipling someone or being discipled.

Disciple groups help you grow a closer relationship with God, and firmly establish faith. If you are interested in being discipled, or if you would like to pour your life into others by discipling someone, let us know. We can help with training and connecting.

Discipleship Groups are designed to help people grow in their relationship with Christ while building lifelong friendships with people in the same stage of life. These Groups exist to make life-changing relationships accessible to you! To Register or get more information, call the church office.

Join or start a DISCIPLESHIP GROUP – New disciple groups start Sunday, September 20th. This year, more than ever, we all need to lean on each other for support and encouragement. Your new disciple guide is called “Fully Alive: Surviving and Thriving in 2020-21.” Whether you are facing a pandemic, hurricane, job & financial troubles, or stress at home, your disciple group will help you depend on God! Learn to not only survive, but thrive in the coming year and walk closer to Jesus. Begin praying now about who should be in your disciple group this year! Together we become fully alive and “fully devoted” disciples of Jesus.

Disciple Guides are available in the church office or download by clicking on this link: Disciple Guide 2020

The discipleship group meets weekly to:

CONNECT – “catch up” on what has happened over the past week.

LEARN – each member receives a disciple handbook with a simple, weekly, step-by-step journey through the essentials of following Jesus with verses to read, questions to discuss, and scriptures to memorize.

ASK – take the time to ask some tough accountability questions. James 5:16 tells us to confess our faults one to another for true, spiritual healing.

PRAY – this is the most powerful part of your disciple group. Pray specifically for each other’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
